Quality Lumber

Decking
We use only the best kiln-dried, radius edge, Western Red cedar decking. Smooth to the touch and pleasing to the eye, this quality grade lumber is the best that money can buy for decks and/or docks. Decking panels are assembled with zinc-plated screws and, on aluminum sections, with added cleats to avoid shifting of the panel on the aluminum framework.

2 x 6 Stringers
We use a grade #1 cedar lumber 2 x 6 - NOT a dock or #2 grade lumber - in order to construct a strong, attractive, durable dock section. Plus, we use four stringers (instead of the usual three) to create a solid platform that is comfortable to walk on and will last many years.
